Rubio`s in Orange

A little busy and hectic, but not crowded. Messed up my order, but did a good job at fixing things.

A good place to have good food

Not the best food you could eat it wasnt anything different than any other fast food place it was ok

Lights have been flicking on/off for 5 months now. It really sucks to pay 10 for anything on the menu but they cant seem to give you the same quality experience. I eat here everyday I work I will no longer be doing so.Updates 2 months later no response to me or in store. Cant wait for new place to buy you out!!!

Just in case you plan to get sick, don't think about any other place, come to rubios of mall outlet of orange, ask for 2 or 3 tacos and don't forget a bottle of pepto bismol, it costed me 29.69 the adventure, plastic food no flavor at all place smell really bad really bad , it is kind of funny the tortillas where like made on the asphalt

The food at Rubios is delicious. The fish is fresh and was very flavorful in the tacos that I ordered. Even though there were a lot of people there, the friendly cashiers worked efficiently to make sure that all of the customers were taken care of. My food was prepared quickly and was so good! 5 stars!

Rubio's a decent Mexican fast food, but this particular location is sub-standard when it comes to cleanliness and service.

Two tacos alone cost more than with rice and beans. Waste of food if you don't want rice and beans. That and the menu being complicated are my biggest complaints. Tacos were pretty bland. Mild salsa has no taste really spicy salsa is a little better.

Food was excellent, little pricey for the portion size though.

Love this location. Nice clean. Friendly employees.

I think the Menu is very appealing to lovers of fish and tacos which is an upside and a downside if you you don't like fish you won't like Rubio's Coastal Grill

What's up with your employees handling trash and then handing food to customers (jacob :employee) .Manager coughing in his hand. Doing transactions and handling food and not washing hands at all..So many regulations being broken...shut it downOver flowing trash...over flowing ice..

I work at Rubio’s and I was in shock how these employees didn’t follow up the instructions for my order! I ordered two gg shrimp tacos and they put a big piece of avocado instead of slices and There was a hair inside my go to box! They female in the line wasn’t wearing a hairnet. Also ordered k-taquitos and they put a lot of cheese.

good service good food but no drinks ? No beer ? come on this place it used to be the best :( i went two times ready this last weekend

Ordered a shrimp burrito to go, when I arrived to eat, there was 1 shrimp cut in 2 pieces in the entire burrito, and the rice was hard. I eat at Rubios frequently, but this is a first, it has only happened at this location (Outlets of Orange). On top of the 20 minute wait, the girls in the back preparing the food did not have hair nets on.

This location is horrible. I got a avocado stems in my burrito. No chicken and undercooked rice.

The food was pretty good and tasted fresh. The steak and salmon on the tacos were dry though. Also, some of the chips were stale. However, the main issue I had was how disrespectful Emily and Josh were to the guest in front of me in line. The guest apparently had used a coupon twice that should have only been used once. Although I agree that it was wrong and annoying, Emily was very rude to him. She interrogated the guest like he was committing a crime and then rudely told him that he should only use it once. After Emily rang me up, she and Josh proceeded to bad mouth the guest at the counter and complain how annoying it is when guests can't follow rules. Their comments could clearly be heard from the counter. I was embarrassed just listening to this and it wasn't even about me. You guys really should work on your guest relations.

Oh man! The food here was so great! It's like there's a fiesta of flavors in your mouth. They each compliment the previous bite and they aren't too strong so it won't be a overpowering taste after another. Very well designed dishes. Try the variety of tacos. That's what I had. Have it with non-carbonated drink and watch your mouth dance.

I love the burritos and fish tacos but it has been a while that it takes too long for food to be ready. Something to improve.

There food as usual was very good for fast food at the food court at the block of orange outdoor shopping center. I really like their different choices of salsa, however this time I chose to buy ala cart instead of a full meal and it was rather expensive for fast food tacos! Their tortilla soup as also pretty good, first time I tried it. I just wish there was more broth and not so much added rice.

Great food! Fish tacos especial are good and new mango-lime water is very refreshing, doesnt taste too sweet. Prices are a bit higher than fast food but worth it.

Waited 40 minutes for two original fish tacos. Not sure what the delay was in getting the food out. At least the food was good once I got it.

Food is great and prices are good. Just be sure to double check your food. I've gotten shrimp tacos instead of chicken more than once. That might be a welcome upgrade to some, but to me- not so much.

Nice place. Decent tacos. Fish tacos are a bit bland. The tortillas and veggies are fresh. The lobster tacos are much better but they don't give you very much lobster meat. The flavors are great tho. Refried beans are delicious with the chips. Service is fast and friendly. Thanks for a great experience!

I was pretty disappointed in this place. Their soda machine was broken and still sold their fountain drinks without informing me or anyone else after me about the issue. When I came to ask about it they informed me they were switching out the syrup and asked me to wait, even though the actual issue was with the carbonation of the drinks and could not have been resolved until the next day. I understand it was toward the end of the day and they were probably not expecting such a large rush after a movie that late at night, however they still had two hours before their stated close time and I did not feel like my business was at all welcome. The food was prepared very well and I enjoyed my burrito. Their green salsa was quite good. I think I will go somewhere else for food next time I am visiting this shopping area.

Good food normal weekday lunch rush at 12 but food comes out pretty quickly. Steak California burrito is my go to but it's always seasonal.

Took way too long to serve food. There was a lot of commotion coming from the kitchen that should probably be talked about after hours not when there is customers. Took 45 min to get and still got the order wrong. Very poor management.

Make sure you ask for "no spice" if you don't like that way.The salads are great and very tasty.The staff is friendly and helpfull.

It was awful, I used to love this place, what happened? Really small portions, the service was horrible, I was there in front of the cashier and she ignored me like it was nobody there, my order took 18 minutes to come out and the worst part I was the only person dining in

This Rubio’s is in the Block which makes it a convenient place to grab a bite after going to the movies or shopping around. Their specialty is sea food and honestly I think you get more fish and shrimp for your buck by getting the Cabo Plate: Shrimp burrito and a fish taco. Their new chipotle chicken burrito though is pretty good.

Good food that will fill you up

I like the new menu. They are one of the more healthier options for quick meals.

The staff are friendly. The food was good. It is a little bit pricey though.

We love Rubio's, but something is wrong here. This location needs new management and a health inspection. We were here twice in a week. First, our order was wrong both times. Then we thought it was strange we felt sick afterwards, the first time we thought well,i maybe was it because we had travelled. The second time it was even worse. Several of us badly nauseated 15 minutes after finishing our food. The location itself? Only 3 utensils in the open dispenser, over half the salsas were empty, sat down and tables were dirty, staff were not engaged and slow to move. Even their attempt to fix the wrong order was wrong.

Rubio's food is always GREAT. This locations customer service though is 2nd to none. They always have the nicest people working there. Keep up the great work guys and gals 👍🏽

I am so glad we stumbled upon this place. I don't have high expectations when it comes to restaurants in malls, but this one shattered mine

I will never again come to this establishment. This is a “large”. Yeah no thank you. BS
